Policy Coverage
Your InsureCargo policy contains the broadest terms available. Your cargo is covered for “all risks” of physical loss or damage, subject to very few exclusions that are considered to be “nonfortuitous” in nature. Examples of nonfortuitous losses might include ordinary wear and tear, and willful misconduct or fraud by the Assured (Insured) or other party to the sales contract. Other exclusions would include loss resulting from delays in transit, loss of market and nuclear contamination.
Open Cargo Policies
For those who are frequent shippers, this policy covers merchandise when shipped by common or contract carriers, owned or leased trucks, worldwide. This one policy automatically covers all shipments you are responsible to insure. Advantages include lower costs, a policy tailored to your needs, knowing you have coverage on each shipment, and local claims handling.
Trip Transit Policies
For those clients who only have a few shipments a year, it’s easy! Use our online quote request. Most shipments are insured for broad “all risks” terms with no deductibles. Coverage is bound online after the premium is paid. The policy is quickly delivered to you in Adobe Acrobat format, to be printed at your location.
International Package Policies
This policy is for clients doing business overseas. Coverage includes property, liability, medical, AD&D, employer’s responsibility and travel accident. This policy is the ideal insurance solution for any U.S.-based companies that do business overseas. It is beneficial since it will cover liabilities or accidental injuries while traveling abroad.
Storage/Warehouse
Policy can include coverage for goods in a storage location, worldwide. The policy is “All Risks”, including catastrophic perils of earthquake, flood, and Named windstorm. The goods are protected whether raw, in process, or in finished form.
